FOUR men were arrested following a fight at a Margate pub that is said to have involved up to 30 men. Police say that trouble broke out at the Quart In A Pint Pot in Charlotte Square at 11pm on Friday after four men entered the building armed with claw hammers.
A police spokeswoman said: “When our officers were alerted we were told there was a fight involving 30 people. Four men were arrested and two people were injured, one of whom had been hit with a claw hammer.”
A 20-year-old man from Dartford, a 22-year-old from Faversham and two men from Margate, aged 21 and 26, have been released on police bail until December 18, while inquiries continue. No one has been charged.
