The former Men Behaving Badly actress talks about booze, films and takes on the big philosophical question of what’s better out of burps and boobs.

Beer or wine? Wine. Oh no I don’t drink anymore, what am I saying? But it used to be wine.

Jack the lad or gentleman? Bit of both. That is what my husband [ex-footballer Lee Chapman] is.

Here’s my number or I’ll call you? You know, I am too old for this. Pass.

Favourite movie? There’s a Girl in my Soup. It stars Goldie Hawn and Peter Sellers, who I both like and I think Terence Frisby, who wrote it, made a lovely film. I always wanted to be in it.

Favourite food? Thai.

Football or rugby? [in the tone of a mother telling off her naughty son] Football!

Bit of a Men Behaving Badly one here - burps or boobs? Erm… boobs.

Leslie Ash stars in All The Single Ladies, which runs at Bromley’s Churchill Theatre from Tuesday, February 7 until Saturday, Feburary 11 and at Tunbridge Wells’ Assembly Hall Theatre on Tuesday, April 3.
