The former Catchphrase presenter identifies his favourite mottos and refers to himself as "the Legend."
"I don’t believe it" or "don’t panic"? Oh that’s err... Meldrew. It’s got to be don’t panic from Lance-Corporal Jones.
"Am I bovered?" or "yeah but no but yeah but…"? Yes she’s from Wales. What’s her name? Catherine Tate that’s it. I don’t know the other one.
"Boom! Boom!" or "here’s one I made earlier"? Aah that’s Basil Brush. Boom! Boom! Can't remember the other.
"Just like that" or "suits you sir"? You have got to go with Tommy Cooper. I don’t recognise the other one. Oh yes, it’s Harry Enfield.
"Nice to see you to see you nice" or "it’s goodnight from me and it’s goodnight from him"? Aaaah Brucie. He’s still going you know. You’ve got to favour the Two Ronnies. They were just brilliant.
"Lovely jubbly" or "you plonker, Rodney!"? That’s Del Boy. You plonker is a classic.
"Ooh Betty" or "I’m free"? That’s Frank Spencer from Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em. My favourite is Are You Being Served though. John Inman became world famous after that.
"It’s good but it’s not right" or "say what you see"? Ahh, the Legend! I think say what you see is good but it’s not right! (Laughs histerically.)
