The oldest member from Britain's most youthful boyband offers up his definitive guide to the best and worst boy and girl bands of the past - and avoids mentioning his recent bust up with Alastair Campbell.
I've never done one of these before. I'm excited.
Take That or Spice Girls? Take That for the music more than anything. I'd go for Spice Girls if it was for the looks. I had a massive crush on Geri and Emma when I was younger. Heck I fancied all of them.
The Four Tops or The Supremes? Four Tops.
East 17 or Eternal? East 17.
You have all been male so far. Boyzone or All Saints? All Saints?
Did you say that because all your previous answers had been boys? Yes I did (laughs). I do like All Saints though.
Westlife of Sugababes? Sugababes. When they came out they made such a niche for themselves and they have had so many good songs it's ridiculous.
Boyz II Men or Destiny's Child? Boyz II Men.
Backstreet Boys or Pussycat Dolls? Backstreet Boys.
You seem to be reverting back to picking boybands again. I certainly am.
JLS or The Saturdays? (Long pause) That is a difficult one. I'll say JLS for the music and The Saturdays for the looks. Can I say that?
Busted or Atomic Kitten? Busted.
McFly or Mis-Teeq? I would genuinely have to say Mis-Teeq. I met a girl from them the other day.
Oh right, which one? I cannot remember her name. It began with an F I think. Err... I genuinely don't know. She was really tall.
(Google frantically offering the possiblility of Alesha Dixon, Su-Elise Nash, Sabrina Washington or Zena McNally.) That was it. It was Zena. I was drunk but she was hot and really nice.
