The Mock The Week star is continuing his long running solo tour called Gruntled. Many a long hour spent on Britain’s motorway network between shows has not endeared the British highways to him.
Services of Little Chef? Services.
Ginsters or Pukka Pie? It would definitely be Ginsters or would you prefer (hardening the G) "Gynsters"? Different people prefer different ways of pronouncing that one.
M25 or A69? Definitely the M25. I don’t think I’ve ever been on the A69 (slow laugh of realisation follows.)
Fill right up or top up a tenner? Fill right up.
Middle lane or fast lane? Well you are a fool to only spend your time in the middle lane. Definitely the fast lane.
AA or RAC? Well there we go. I’m AA but I don’t really know why.
Muffin or croissant? Erm… I think I’m croissant more than muffin. You cannot put marmalade on your muffin very easily can you?
Favourite service station in the UK is? Erm… It would have to be Tebay. The one on the M6 just as you go through the Lake District. What a service station that is.
