£64million park boost

MAJOR new plans for the development of a Bromley park were launched by the London Development Agency today.

The £64 million plans for Crystal Palace Park were unveiled just days before the agency prepares to lodge a planning application with the owners of the park, Bromley Borough Council.

If the plans get the go ahead the area could see a new central sports area, new terraces and the demolition of many buildings and car parks within the grounds.

Work could start as early as next year and the project may take as long as 20 years to complete.
