Brian Reddin, 56, died after a crash on the M25 slip road at Dartford

The family of a biker who died after a crash on the M25 slip road at Dartford have spoken of their "devastating loss".

Motorcyclist Brian Reddin, 56, was killed following the smash with a car near the junction with Princes Road.

The father-of-two, from the Tonbridge and Malling area, was fondly remembered as a "take me as I am man" by his relatives.

Mr Reddin's family said in a statement: "Brian will sadly be missed by many.

"He was a loving husband and a doting father of two and a granddad to four.

"He was a 'take me as I am' man, which everyone admired. This is such a devastating loss as Brian was a very experienced rider of over 30 years.

Mr Reddin was killed after the crash on the slip road onto the M25 anticlockwise from Princes Road, Dartford, at about 8am last Tuesday.

His family added: "We want to say a big thank you to all the emergency services especially the paramedics and the air ambulance who worked hard to help him.

"We would also like to thank the witnesses that have already come forward for all their help in trying to piece together what actually happened to Brian.

"We are also appealing to any witnesses that haven't already yet done so because we still need your help in finding out exactly what happened to our Brian and to give us a bit of closure.

"Can we also say thank you to all the family and friends for your ongoing support.

"Please be aware that the air ambulance is only partly funded by the NHS so please contribute to a very worthy cause that could save your life next time."

The crash is being investigated by the Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
