A Dartford submariner charged with murder and attempted murder while on board a nuclear submarine will be back in court this September.

Able Seaman Ryan Donovan, of Hillside Road, is accused of killing Lieutenant Commander Ian Molyneux during an attack on the HMS Astute last April.

His case was mentioned and adjourned at Winchester Crown Court this morning.

The 22-year- old is now due to appear in court on September 19 to enter a plea.
