More than 100 top figures in the world of education will arrive at a Maidstone school today.

The New Line Learning Academy in Boughton Lane is hosting the Microsoft Innovative Schools Workshop.

Each year Microsoft hosts the global workshop and invites delegates from around the globe.

This is the first year it has been in the UK.

New Line Learning Academy head teacher Guy Hewett said: "We are very proud to have been chosen to host this prestigious event.

"There will be some extremely prestigious figures from the world of education attending."

The delegates will be hearing speakers, touring the school and meeting some NNL students.
