FRESH information has been released in the hunt for the gunmen who shot a father of two on his own doorstep. Two men confronted the 25-year-old victim as he opened the door of his Coller Crescent home in Darenth on the evening of May 6. One pulled out a handgun and shot him in the stomach at point-blank range.
Police have issued details of the vehicle in which the two men fled. It is believed to be a J-reg Ford Sierra Sapphire with the letters ACE in its registration number. It was seen making off towards Langlands Drive.
Yesterday, the victim, who has not been named, was still in a stable condition at Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford. Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the vehicle or saw it in Darenth on the night of the shooting, should call Dartford police station on 01322 283154.
