CHARLTON missed out on a place in the Uefa Cup following the Fair Play League draw in Germany.

They joined 11 other hopefuls in the draw, made at half-time during the Under-21 Championship final, but lost out after sides from Armenia and Ukraine were picked out of the hat.

The Addicks will be especially disappointed as they came close to qualifying for Europe automatically through the Premiership, but missed out on a top-five place after another poor finish to the season.
