Aid for Afghan refugees leaves Manston

A CARGO plane loaded with Oxfam aid for Afghan refugees has left London Manston airport near Ramsgate. The plane, packed with 40 tons of water and sanitation equipment, flew out last night.

The £185,000 shipment includes buckets and pumps to supply clean water to 45,000 people in camps on the Pakistan/Afghanistan border.
