Aldi is recalling some chicken products over health fears.
The supermarket, which has stores across Kent, has issued a product recall alert for four of its Eat + Go items because of the possible presence of salmonella.
The items affected are a Chicken and Bacon Ceasar Wrap and Chicken and Bacon Ceasar Wrap Triple.
The use by dates on the products affected for both the wrap and triple wrap are both May 11 and May 12 and anyone with the food items in their fridge is being told not to eat them.
Symptoms caused by salmonella usually include a fever, sickness, diarrhoea or stomach cramps and often resolve in a few days with rest, but the infection can pose more of a risk to those who are more vulnerable such as the elderly, younger children and those with an underlying health condition.
Notices are being displayed in the aisles of all Aldi stores selling the items to draw customers' attention to the product recall, says the Food Standards Agency.
Any shoppers with the wraps can return them to their nearest Aldi store for a full refund.
