All set for charity walk across new bridge

THOUSANDS of people are expected to take part in the charity Bridge Walk across the new Sheppey Crossing this Sunday.

The event has been organised by members of the Isle of Sheppey Round Table in conjunction with Carillion, Sheppey Route Ltd and the Highways Agency.

This is the public’s only chance to walk over the bridge before it opens to traffic later this summer. There is currently no firm date.
