AN AMBULANCE employee needed first aid of his own when his car crashed into another while on an emergency call.
Police are also appealing for witnesses to the collision between a Kent Ambulance Trust responder car and a Proton Compact car in Park Road, Ramsgate, at about 10am on Monday.
It appears that the ambulance was responding to an emergency call using its blue lights and sirens when the collision happened.
The driver of the responder car, a man in his 40s, suffered minor neck injuries while the driver of the car, a man in his 30s, suffered minor leg injuries. Both were taken to hospital in Margate. Park Road was closed from just after 10am until midday.
