Air ambulance called to Minster

The Kent Air Ambulance landed on the playing fields of a Sheppey school this morning (Thursday).

It flew a woman,who had fainted,to Medway Maritime Hospital.

The helicopter landed at St George's Middle School, Chequers Road, Minster, just after 11am.

An air ambulance spokesman said: "It took just eight minutes to fly there from our base at Marden near Maidstone and a further five minutes to fly her to the hospital in Gillingham.
