Appeal after boy threatened by knifeman

A TEENAGER was threatened by a knife-wielding man as as he walked home across a park.
The 16-year-old boy was with friends near the play area on the Fort Pitt Hill park in Chatham when he was approached by a man with a knife.
The terrified boy was threatened by the man and a struggle occured. The boy screamed and shouted and the offender got away.
The incident happened just after midnight on Saturday, May 14.
A spokesman for Medway Police said: "We would appeal to anyone who may have heard his screams and shouts or seen the offender or who was in the area of Victoria Gardens at the time of the assault to contact us as a matter of priority."
The offender is described as about 5ft 8in and of slim build. He was wearing dark trousers and a baggy shirt.
