DETECTIVES have issued an e-fit of one of three men they want to question in connection with an incident in which a young man was stabbed.

The victim, a 20-year-old Polish man from Margate, was approached by the trio in Dalby Road, Margate, on Thursday, August 10, between 10.30pm and 10.55pm.

At first they asked for directions but then one of the men produced a flick knife and the victim was stabbed in the hand.

The exact location was given as "behind the church on Dalby Road near the café". Police say there is no indication that there was a racial motive for this crime.

Anyone who knows the identity of the man in the image is asked to contact DC Sara Jackson at Margate police station on 01843 222069. Otherwise contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Callers may be eligible for a cash reward.
