Are you member of dead man's family?

NO NEXT of kin have yet been traced for an elderly man whose body was found in a caravan at Paddock Wood on Saturday, August 18, some time after he is thought to have collapsed and died.

Coroner's officer Barry Keefe is now hoping that a relative or someone who knew the man's family will come forward.

Mr Keefe said: "Sadly, the man died alone and was not found for some time. We had to identify him from dental records but do know he was Robert Stanley Giles, aged 78.

"We think Mr Giles was born in Kent and for the last few years before his death he lived in a caravan at Lambs Mobile Homes' site in Maidstone Road, Paddock Wood."

Mr Giles died from natural causes and police say there are no suspicious circumstances. Anyone who can help trace his next of kin should call the north-west Kent coroner's office on 01732 370607.
