Armed robbers threaten staff in Larkfield newsagent raid

Police cordon off Martin's Square, Larkfield, after the raid

An armed gang threatened staff at a newsagents' during a robbery early this morning.

The four balaclava-clad raiders burst into Martin's, in Martin's Square, Larkfield, brandishing weapons just before 5am.

The gang, who are thought to be men, stole cash and cigarettes. A black vehicle was later seen in the area, but it's not known if they're connected.

It is not currently known how much money was taken or the exact weapons used in the robbery. No one was injured.
