Large measures of merriment will be served up in Margate Operatic Society’s traditional family pantomime, Babes In The Wood, at the Winter Gardens from Wednesday to Sunday, December 3 to 7.

All the elements of traditional family pantomime will combine including toe-tapping songs, fabulous costumes, comedy, slapstick, audience participation, magical effects, lively choreography and stunning scenery.

This much-loved fairy tale has been given an enchanting twist by scriptwriters Stuart Clements and Harcus Copper, appearing as Friar Tuck and the evil Sheriff of Nottingham respectively.

Performances will be at 7.30pm with matinees at 2.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.
