Bandstand trust needs your help

More volunteers - and money - are needed by the organisation which looks after the memorial to the Royal Marines killed in 1989.
The Deal Memorial Bandstand Trust is appealing for help in the run-up to the 20th anniversary of the IRA bombing at the Walmer barracks, when 11 Royal Marines died.
It needs more volunteers and is also facing a big bill for maintenance on the bandstand, built as a tribute to those who lost their lives in the School of Music explosion.
Publicity officer Stephen Misson said: "The bandstand trust is proud of its achievements, but does need more support."
