A man had to be airlifted to hospital when he suffered multiple injuries in a road accident.

The 25-year-old from Borough Green was injured when his motorbike was in collision with a Peugeot 106 on the A25 at Ightham on Saturday at around 2.15pm.

The Kent Air Ambulance airlifted the man to the Royal London Hospital trauma centre and the road was re-opened at 4.30pm.
