DAME Helen Mirren, the Oscar-winning actress, is to visit the Bluewater shopping complex at Greenhithe to sign copies of her new book.

The British actress who won an Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe for her lead role in The Queen, which depicted the events that followed Princess Diana’s death, will be coming to Waterstone’s on Saturday, September 22.

She will be at the store from 5pm with her memoirs In The Frame: My Life in Words and Pictures.

Store manager Elyse Goldsworthy said: “We are ecstatic to be having a signing with Dame Helen. She is a well respected acting legend and one of the greatest personalities of our age.

“This is a rare opportunity considering her busy schedule and the fact she does not normally do such signings.”
