A BOY of 15 who underwent emergency surgery for serious head injuries after being attacked by a gang of youths in Paddock Wood earlier this month is now out of hospital.

But the boy remains under close medical observation and in a wheelchair almost two weeks after the incident.

The teenager was with his younger brother when they were confronted at the junction of Warrington Road and Forest Road, Paddock Wood, at about 7pm on Monday, August 2.

Police say that although there was a group of about 20 girls and boys - aged between 15 and 18 - only a small number were involved in the attack. Three teenagers have been released on police bail while investigations continue.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Graham Norman or PC Simon Barnes on 01732 370732 or Crimestoppers on 0800 111 555.
