A car flipped onto its roof during a crash along a busy road earlier today.

The accident happened in Ingram Road, Gillingham, which leads onto Church Street.

A picture shows the black vehicle completely flipped, with both doors open as members of the public try to help the driver.

Police confirmed they were called at 10am to a collision which involved a car and two parked vehicles.

A spokesman added: “Officers attended and there were no serious injuries reported.

“A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs.

“He is currently bailed pending further enquiries, until Tuesday, February 27.”
