FIREFIGHTERS cut a man and a woman free from the car they were travelling in after it overturned on the M20 on Friday.

The incident took place shortly after 11am on the coastbound carriageway between junction 1 at Swanley and junction 2 at Wrotham.

A total of four people were taken to Maidstone Hospital with minor injuries.

There was no reported traffic congestion.
