SUNGLASSES, CDs and a make-up bag collectively worth hundreds of pounds were stolen when thieves broke into a parked car.

The theft happened overnight between Saturday and Sunday from a VW car parked in Garner Drive, East Malling.

The property taken included Gucci sunglasses, a Louis Vuitton make-up bag and several CDs.

Earlier, in a separate incident, a Citroen Saxo car was targeted by thieves who stole a black and silver case containing documents, sunglasses and medication.

The vehicle, which was parked in Plover Road, Larkfield, was broken into between 12.45pm and 4.15pm on Friday.
