KENT Police have released CCTV images of three suspects wanted in connection with a robbery at a travel agency.

Three men targeted Thomson Travel in High Street, Strood, at around noon on Tuesday.

They threatened the people inside before locking four members of staff, all women, and four members of the public, a man and three women, in a lavatory upstairs.

Within minutes they had left via the back on foot, taking with them about £12,000 worth of mixed currency in a black plastic sack.

No weapon was used in the robbery and no one was injured.

The three men are all described as black and in their early to mid 20s.

Suspect one is of medium height, was wearing a black ‘hoody’, blue Diesel jeans and white trainers. He had braids (or dreadlocks) in his hair.

Suspect two is also of medium height and was wearing a dark hooded fleece and dark jeans.

Suspect three is described as taller than the other two and slim-built. He was wearing a grey ‘hoody’ dark jeans, white trainers and was wearing a camouflage-patterned scarf over his face during the robbery.

Det Insp John Coull, who is leading the investigation, said: "I’m keen to hear from anyone who saw these men cross the market area and find out if they went to the silver people carrier."

Anyone with information is asked to telephone 01622 690690 or call Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
