Gillingham could be missing Charlie Lee, Andy Frampton and Jo Kuffour for the weekend after all three sat out training at the start of the week.

Lee, pictured, and Kuffour had a virus while Frampton injured his ankle on Monday.

Boss Andy Hessenthaler had already decided to make changes for the visit of Northampton in the wake of back-to-back League 2 defeats but could be forced into more upheaval than planned.

He said: "The three players are doubtful. There will be some changes this week and it needs it.

"We have only had two or three games with a settled side and it’s just typical that we pick these things up but we have a good squad."

Danny Kedwell is set for a recall after starting the last two games on the bench.

Hessenthaler said: "There is every chance he could be back. He is looking good in training."

Who should replace Lee, Frampton and Kuffour if they fail to recover in time for Saturday's game? Have your say below.
