Two young children were threatened in what police described as a targeted robbery in Dolphins Road, Folkestone.

Up to six people forced their way into a house just before 10pm on Monday.

It is believed that they threatened two young children in the house. Cash and jewellery were also stolen.

Det Insp Steve Bridges said: "We don't think this is a random attack, and believe that the family was targeted."
