Citroen C1 prices confirmed

Prices have been confirmed for the new Citroen C1, which hits showrooms on April 2.
The cutesy city car will officially be available from £7,995 on the road, but a special offer being run by Citroen gives buyers £1,000 off, making the entry-level three-door VT model £6,995.
It will come in three trim levels; VT, VTR and VTR+. They all share the same 67bhp 1.0-litre petrol engine that can return 65.7mpg and 99g/km of CO2, making it road tax exempt and free to drive into Central London.
Also available in VTR+ trim is the robotised manual EGS gearbox, which is a lightweight solution for drivers who prefer automatic transmissions. Its CO2 emissions increase to 104g/km, though, so the EGS model is not tax free after the first year.
Citroen's Elect 4 personal lease finance allows a mid-range VTR model, complete with electric windows, air conditioning and LED daytime running lights to be bought for £99 per month, which also includes a year's free insurance for drivers aged 21-75.
The top-spec five-door VTR+ costs £10,045 with the automated manual EGS model weighing in at £10,545. All models are available to pre-order now.
