Coca-Cola is recalling packs of its fizzy drinks.

The Food Standards Agency says a packaging error has prompted the recall of cans of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar.

Multi-packs - containing 24 330ml cans of the sugar free drink - are affected by the recall because it is feared some boxes have been wrongly packaged with original Coca-Cola instead.

The issue, says the FSA, could be particularly dangerous for customers who have to control their sugar intake and have bought Coca-Cola Zero believing it to be sugar free.

Boxes of the affected drink, which have the festive-themed cardboard packaging featuring Father Christmas holding a glass bottle of Coca-Cola, will also have best before dates of between October 31, 2023 and November 30, 2023.

Notices are being displayed in all shops and supermarkets notifying customers of the error and anyone with an affected box who wishes to exchange it should call the company on 0800 22 77 11.
