Drivers could be forgiven for having a beef about delays on the M25 today.

A cow got onto the hard shoulder between junction 5 near Sevenoaks, and junction six near Godstone in Surrey, during the rush hour this morning.

Traffic was brought to a halt while it was coaxed back into a field and the fence repaired.
