FAME and fortune beckon for X-Factor singer Adam Chandler.

The solo singer, who lives in Eccles and went to stage school in Maidstone, has made it through to the first live television show of the ITV1 talent show as a member of five-strong “boy band” Futureproof.

Last weekend, millions of viewers saw king of the putdowns Simon Cowell choose them as one of only 12 acts out of 330,000 hopefuls to reach the first live show.

Last Friday, the21-year-old performed a farewell concert for family and friends before entering the X-Factor house and the final stages of the competition.
