AN eight-month-old German Shepherd bitch has been stolen from the rear garden of a house.

The animal vanished sometime between 12 noon and 6.30pm on Wenesday from the property in Headcorn Road, Lenham, near Maidstone.

The dog's owner had left it, along with her other dogs, in her secure garden before going out. When she returned it was missing.
