Dogs worth £6,000 stolen

A hunt has been launched to find two stolen litters of puppies worth thousands of pounds.

Four nine-week-old Bedlington terriers and four eight-week-old Beagle pups worth a total of £4,000 were taken from an outbuilding in Old Surrenden Manor Road, Bethersden sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

A silver adult Bedlington terrier bitch and a blue adult Staffordshire terrier bitch, worth a total of £1,000 were also taken.

The missing animals are described as being three tri-colour dogs and one lemon and white bitch Beagle puppies, and the Bedlington terrier puppies are described as 'blue’, although appear black.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anything unusual in the area or has information about the whereabouts of the dogs.
