Dream comes true for these first-time buyers

The show home at Taylor Wimpey’s Great Easthall development in Sittingbourne was exactly the type of property that first-time buyers Emma Rowe and Calvin Burgess were looking for.
The design and spacious layout of the three-bedroom home appealed to the young couple, who were hoping to buy their first house together, but were struggling to save up a deposit.
Thankfully for Emma, 24, and Calvin, 28, a homebuyer incentive gave them the financial boost needed to secure the property their hearts were set on.
Emma , a sales representative said: “Calvin and I have been together for over five years. We had been saving up for ages, but it was such hard work and at times it felt like we would never have enough money to secure a house.
“Fortunately, the sales executive told us about the ways they could give assistance and suddenly our dream home was within reach. Taylor Wimpey were such a big help.”
The couple moved in just two months after first visiting the development and are loving life in their terraced house.
Emma said: “The main reason we wanted to buy our own home is so that we can start a family. The house has plenty of space on the ground floor, plus a garden and there are three good-size bedrooms upstairs.
“Right from the moment we stepped through the front door it struck us as the kind of place we had been hoping to settle in. We love the area, it feels genuinely neighbourly.”
There is a selection of homes on sale at Great Easthall, including a two-bedroom coach house from £119,500, three-bedroom houses from £154,995 and four-bedroom properties from £194,500.
The NewBuy scheme offers first-time buyers and those with a property to sell the chance to get their new home with a 95% loan-to-value mortgage.
Great Easthall’s marketing suite, off Abelyn Avenue, Easthall Lane, Sittingbourne, is open daily from 10am to 5pm. More details on 0845 676 2495 or www.taylorwimpey.co.uk/southeast
