A speeding driver has been banned after admitting doing 88mph in a posh Bentley.

Paul Swords, of Rougemont, West Malling, pleaded guilty to hitting speeds of nearly 90mph in a 50mph zone.

The 34-year-old was caught on September 19 at West Malling in a Bentley Continental on the A228 West Malling bypass.

Faversham and Sittingbourne Magistrates' Court disqualified him from driving for 56 days.

Swords was also fined £1,000 and ordered to pay £50 costs.
