Driver in crash barrier tragedy is identified

A YOUNG man who died when his car was in collision with a crash barrier on the A21 in Kent has been named.

He was 20-year-old Craig James, of Chalk Pit Avenue, Orpington.

The tragedy, involving only one vehicle, occurred near Sevenoaks on Saturday, June 9, at about 11.20pm.

An inquest has been opened and adjourned by the coroner for North and West Kent, Roger Hatch.

Kent Police's serious collision investigation unit are still appeal for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to telephone 01622 698538.
