Two people have been taken to hospital after up to 100 schoolchildren got involved in a fight in Erith in south east London.

Metropolitan Police said officers were called to "a large fight" between youngsters in the Northumberland Heath area, at around 5.40pm last night.

Reports on social media suggested around 100 youths were involved, some wearing school uniform, near the Duchess of Kent pub.

Police say seven people have been arrested.
