A FAMILY'S ordeal of terror is continuing after a brutal racially-motivated attack, which has left a man with serious injuries.
The Monogenis family, who live in Strood, has been subjected to a campaign of racial abuse, intimidation, threats and physical attacks over the past four years.
Theo Monogenis, 32, was savagely attacked as he walked along Strood High Street last week. His wife Alina, 32, was also attacked in front of her three young sons just weeks before this.
The whole family has been terrorised by yobs as young as 12 and has already been forced to move home.
Mr Monogenis, who runs a carpentry business, said he was "punched at least 30 times in the head" by a man who had shouted racial abuse at him on Strood High Street.
He suffered a broken nose and dislocated jaw during the assault.
"I am of Greek origin and my wife Alina is Polish, but we have lived in this country for 12 years," added Mr Monogenis. "I just want it to end. We have done nothing wrong."
Insp Richard Watson, who is based at Rochester police station, said: “We are treating this incident as a racially-motivated attack and are investigating it in light of the other offences that have happened to this family.
