CROSS Channel passenger ferry operator Norfolkline is introducing an autumn fare offer of £50 return especially for motorcyclists. The offer for a motorcycle and rider is for a five-day return on the Dover-Dunkerque route.

It is available for travel from now until December 18, 2001 and must be booked and paid for by November 15. Norfolkline's two ferries feature of a bank of custom-made lashings with cushions to secure machines during the 120-minute crossing. Conditions apply to the offer.

Wayne Bullen, Norfolkline's general manager on the route, said: "Dunkerque provides direct access to the main Continental motorway networks and has always been a popular route to mainland Europe for riders."

Norfolkline's passenger operation concentrates on the needs of motorists and riders, with the service dedicated to cars, cars and caravans/trailers, motorhomes and motorcycles. The company operates two of the most modern ships on the Channel with up to six crossings a day.
