Arsonists are thought to be responsible for setting a car alight in Burham Road, Borstal, on Monday afternoon.

A crew from Strood fire station were called out to deal with the burning vehicle, a Peugeot 307, at about 12.20pm, and spent about half-an-hour at the scene.

A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: “We suspect arson.”
