A MAN had to be released from a crashed car by firefighters after an accident at crossroads near The Hare pub at Langton Green, near Tunbridge Wells, on Sunday night.

He was later treated for neck, chest and leg injuries at the Kent and Sussex Hospital. The man was a passenger in a grey Ford Escort. The accident happened shortly before 8.30pm.

The A264 Langton Road was partially blocked at its junction with Broom Lane and Speldhurst Road for more than an hour.
