Scene of the crash on Whitfield roundabout

Firefighters cut free an injured woman after her Mitsubishi Pajero was in a crash with a foreign articulated lorry at Whitfield roundabout shortly after 11am today.

The woman, in her 40s, was not thought to be seriously injured.

She was taken to the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.
