Firm offers £5,000 reward for information on theft

A FAMILY-RUN business hit by mindless thieves is offering a £5,000 reward for information after thousands of pounds worth of tools were stolen. Staff at the Microlight Centre based in Middle Stoke, near Strood, arrived at to work to discover the factory where they build and repair microlights had been broken into.

The vandals stole tools and equipment worth around £40,000 including a quad bike, steam cleaner, and battery operated drill.

One member of staff said: "They even smashed up one of the microlights which we were supposed to be taking to a show in a couple of weeks. This is why we are offering a reward to anyone who may have some information leading to a conviction."
