Fresh appeal after toddler dies in M25 crash

KENT Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit today renewed an appeal for witnesses to a collision on the M25 that claimed the life of a boy aged two.

The tragedy happened near Crockenhill, on Saturday July 14, shortly after 3pm. The collision involved eight vehicles.

The two-year-old boy, a passenger in one of the vehicles, died from his injuries. His mother was taken to hospital but was released on the same day, along with a four-year-old boy who was also in the car.

A 17-year-old male passenger in the same vehicle was air-lifted to a London Hospital with serious injuries.

A number of the other drivers and passengers in the other seven vehicles involved, suffered minor injuries.

Anyone travelling on the M25 who saw the collision take place is asked to contact police on 01622 798538.

In another accident on the M25 on Saturday a boy of 11, from Surrey, died after his father's motorcycle collided with several vehicles on the clockwise approach to the QEII Bridge in Essex. The collision occurred at around 11am.
