New warnings have been issued as many roads remain shut across Kent following heavy rain yesterday.
The Environment Agency has warned people to "be prepared" as officers expect roads and low lying land to flood from 8am.
A flood alert has been put in place for the Rivers Eden and Eden Brook due to heavy overnight rainfall.
Flooding is expected for the two rivers, as well as Kent Ditch from Blindley Heath to Penshurst including Edenbridge and Hever.
It is thought low lying land and roads close to the rivers, particularly on and around Water Lane and Haxted Road will be most affected.
No further rainfall is expected today.
Environment officer said: "We are continuing to monitor the situation and our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from the rivers.
"Please avoid using footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid roads near rivers, which may be flooded."
Yesterday, heavy rain caused areas around the county to flood with roads being described "like rivers" by residents and caused travel chaos.
As a result of overnight rain, many roads across Kent remain closed this morning.
The B2162 Hampstead Lane, Yalding, is closed in both directions due to flooding between Hampstead Lock and B2015 Maidstone Road.
Ware Street, Weavering, is also shut from Chapel Lane to Edelin Road.
Sheephurst Lane, Marden, is also currently shut both ways beacuse of flooding between the B2079 Goudhurst Road and the B2162 Maidstone Road, Claygate.
A yellow weather alert was in place yesterday morning which was followed by a second warning for thunderstorms which was in place until 6am today.
