KentOnline Podcast: Covid blamed for huge rise in number of attacks on police officers in Kent

Kent's top police officer has spoken out about a big increase in the number of attacks on his staff.

Between March and October there were more than 1,900 cases in the county - a rise of 570 on the same period the year before.

In just one week recently there were 24 assaults on police officers, including eight in a single day.
